in honor of 3 Tammuz for the first 24hours of the Campaign every dollar will be doubled!
Picture the scene: On a Friday evening we have Eliana, from Colombia, sitting next to Eyal, from Panama, and next to him is Shai from Romania, and many others, conversing, singing, and enjoying a delicious Shabbat meal. From all over the world, they are here, and they are connecting, purely on the basis of being Jewish brothers and sisters who are working in Vienna, Austria.
These are just a few of the many International Young Professionals who call Vienna home.
What brought them here? Many Jewish students were drawn to the Lauder Business School, a Jewish College founded by Chabad which is located in Vienna. They’ve stayed on, post-graduation, and now they’ve grown into their own community in need of a Shliach.
Our Goal: Our plans are to open a Chabad House in Vienna's city center and to bring Jewish life to where these Young Professionals work and live.
Due to our knowledge of many languages; including English, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Hebrew, and Yiddish, we are easily able to welcome these International Young Professionals and make them feel very much at home.
We look forward to providing them with Shabbat and Holiday services and meals, Jewish studies groups and discussions, events and trips, in an engaging, fun and enjoyable atmosphere.
Where do you come into the picture? B’ezrat Hashem, with your help, we can achieve our goal and help set these Young Professionals on the right spiritual path as they embark on their journey in the real world and when they start their own families, hopefully soon.
Thank you, in advance, for your partnership and your generosity.
